Terms of Service
Last updated: August 29, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of finopscourse.com and the courses sold on it (“The FinOps Desk,” “we,” “us”), operated by Adam Morad, an individual, US-based (Delaware) business. By buying a course, signing in, or otherwise using this site, you agree to these Terms.
What we offer
The FinOps Desk sells online training in cloud financial operations (FinOps), including courses covering FinOps certification preparation (such as FinOps Practitioner) and the FOCUS (FinOps Open Cost and Usage Specification) standard. Courses are delivered as web-based lessons you access through your browser after purchase.
Course completion does not itself grant any official certification. Where a course references an external certification exam (for example, one administered by the FinOps Foundation), that exam is run independently by that third party, and we make no guarantee that completing our course will result in you passing it.
Purchases and payment
Payments are processed by our merchant of record, Creem Inc. (creem.io), who is the seller of record for all purchases made on this site and handles payment data directly. We never see or store your card details. Your contract for the purchase itself is with Creem as merchant of record; these Terms govern your use of the course content Creem’s checkout grants you access to.
Refund requests can be sent to support@finopscourse.com and are handled in line with the refund policy shown to you at checkout.
Account and course access
Signing in with Google is required to buy a course. We create an account for you through our authentication provider, Clerk, tied to your Google email address. You’re responsible for keeping your Google account secure — anyone with access to it can access your FinOps Desk account and any courses tied to it.
After a successful purchase, that course is unlocked directly on your account — a personal, non-transferable license to access it whenever you’re signed in. We may revoke access to a purchase we determine has been shared, resold, or used to violate these Terms.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Share your account or unlocked course content with anyone else
- Copy, record, republish, or redistribute course content outside this site
- Attempt to bypass or circumvent course access controls
- Use the site in any way that violates applicable law
Intellectual property
All course content — videos, text, slides, and materials — is owned by Adam Morad / The FinOps Desk and licensed to you for personal, non-commercial, educational use only. Purchasing a course does not transfer any ownership or broader license to that content.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Courses are provided for educational purposes and “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee any particular career, salary, certification, or exam outcome from taking a course. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the site is limited to the amount you paid for the course giving rise to the claim.
Termination
We may suspend or revoke access to a course if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated. You can stop using the site at any time; this doesn’t entitle you to a refund except as described in the refund policy shown at checkout.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above.
Trademarks
FinOps®, FinOps Foundation®, and the certification names and badges referenced on this site are trademarks of the Linux Foundation. The FinOps Desk is an independent training provider and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FinOps Foundation.
